Piano education is one of indispensable and fundamental courses in higher pedagogical education. The research and investigation to the higher pedagogical piano education has been developed completely under the eidos of reform in fundamental education courses in recent years. The present model and concept in higher pedagogical piano education which adopt from traditional professional college can not meet the demand of student's future development. Teaching model is a comprehensive subject in modern education theory. It is in favor of teacher in flexible exercising and designing courses depending on different subject, destination and content. Moreover based on its simpleness, intuition and easy operation, it will help teacher with a clear mind in education. It will bring us double result to choose a good model which adapts the student's development in higher pedagogical piano teaching. So it is an important subject to found a higher pedagogical piano education model.With the introducing of multicultural music education theory, it has been the mainstream in the international music education. Ethnic minorities live in compact communities in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, so here is the optimum place in researching multicultural music education for its geographical position and social surroundings. The music academy of Xinjiang Normal University takes the background advantage to positively researching and practicing the"Dual Sense of Music"education theory in Xinjiang music education. During the course of practice and experiment, she brings new subject and challenge to traditional piano education. Author has conducted the piano education circumstances investigation deeply and made an entire comparison and systems analysis to 7 music academies of normal university in Xinjiang. At the same time, author objectively sets forth her own suggestion and conception to the existing problems.There are four sections in this thesis:Fist section: explain the existing situation,meaning, purpose, idea and method; Summarize the meaning, classification and development trend of the education model and literature of the piano education.Second section: brief presentation of fundamental situation and piano education of 7 music academies of normal university in Xinjiang.Third section: make a full and accurate statistic alanalysis through questionnaire, interview, teaching observation to 7 music academies of normal university in XinjiangForth section: author sets forth her own suggestion and conception to existin situation of the higher pedagogical piano education model in Xinjiang.
