With the strategy of western development,as one of the resources of the traditional Chinese art and culture,the traditional manual Minority wood decorative arts, attracts more and more attention from the whole society. Minority wood decorative art of traditional hand demonstrats the value of the inner spirit of artistic skills, but also shows the world its unique charm and local spirit.However, we are in a complex period of history, under the circumstance of global economic integration, and growing trend of ,ferocious, urbanization, digital, culture, standardization, the traditional culture is facing the crisis of being gradually "forgotten", "abandoned ".its living environment has become more worrisome. The ethnic traditional handmade wood becames the symbol of "Xinjiang style" in derivatives industry, Traditional handmade wooden art is not just minorities, but rather should be the carrier of national culture, infinite, but now it simply comes to market as a commodity, the key aesthetic content has being pulled out when the production methods and processes changes, the public's customary aesthetic way of life is also changing as people gradually swallow the precious cultural heritage of folk traditions.Xinjiang is coming through a major society transition, in the great strategic stages leading by modern culture,the transformation of "traditional" to "modern" culture, should not be the wanton cutting of traditional cultural,but the "Reviewing the Old" process, recorded in Xinjiang, the intangible cultural heritage of wood decorative art of traditional hand should be passed from generation to generation.when confronting these problems, our priority should be thinking and finding a favorable solution to display features of handmade wood Xinjiang Traditional Folk art and to decide the specific position of its value; from the succession to application and to innovation .on the basis of inheriting the handmade wood Xinjiang Traditional Folk art should develop diversified, and continue to explore the unique ethnic unique aesthetic, to create a typical sign of Xinjiang regional products with local characteristics, these are also The purpose and significance of this study.
