As an important component of modern Chinese vocabulary , locution,just as idioms, proverbs, twisters, composing of"saying"is an important and difficult point for the Teaching of Chinese as the Foreign Language, and because of its unique features, it gains high popularity from international students. For the prensent, locution have been intensively researched by the academic circle focusing on ontology , but in the circle of Teaching Chinese as the Foreign language , the study on locution, which is to be studied further, is still limited in the initial stage, many studies are not only in-depth, but also not comprehensive enough. This paper based on the ontology of locution , is divided into four parts to discuss and study the Acquisition of Chinese locution by international students.1 Introduction In this part, this article gave a chief introduction to the origin and significance of this research, and made a summary of the research about locution, with which the readers can get a general understanding about the present situation of locution in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.2 Locution and teaching Chinese as a foreign language From the angel of the meanings and characteristics of locution, we discussed the status and functions of locution in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Locution is very important in teaching Chinese as a foreign language; meanwhile it is also difficult to be comprehended. It will improve the capability of communicating with Chinese and studying the Chinese culture for the abroad students to learn locution well, and also it will be good for the spreading of Chinese culture all over the world, and the status of China will be developed as well.3 Study of the problems when abroad students learn locution With the examples, from the aspects of structure, semantics and language environment, we analyze the errors of abroad students'using locutions incorrectly. And then, we made a chief analysis on the two possible reasons which are subjective reasons and impersonal reasons.4 teaching of locutions in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language Based on the several parts before, the author tried to give some suggestions on locution teaching with the direction of three teaching principles and five teaching strategies. We hope can apply some help to the studying of locutions for abroad students.Conclusion There are some shortages of this article, the author hope that this study can make some contribution on the learning of locutions for abroad students, and can supply some reference for the further study.
