As we knew, the great cultural revolution had made the party, the state and the people suffering the most serious setbacks and losses since May 1966 to October 1976.However, Hong Kong, be a originally Chinese territory, was blooming in British colonial rule between these 10 years include comics and "Man Hua".This article is from the perspective of Hong Kong and does not only mainly introduce the Hong Kong's course of development of comics and comic books and works Hong Kong in the past 10 years, but also I could compare it with the mainland comics and "Man hua" and contains in subject matter, painting style, works ideologically, superior technique of expression and so forth. In this comparison, We can clearly understand why the cartoons and comics so slow development in contemporary China is and it lacks of creativity. I think that it causes the gaps which China's comics and comic books created by the impact of stagnation in this special period.By comparison we will clearly understand that this "blank" period when the Chinese comics and cartoons should have gone through the stages in Hong Kong which presented "miniature version". Using the stage of development with the prevailing situation to fill the domestic "blank", we should know us needs in comics and "Man Hua" development, so that our comics and "Man Hua" could be health and integrated in the future. My article divides four parts, the first part is the history of Hong Kong comics, the second part is the comics' comparison in mainland and Hong Kong, the third part is the Old Master Q and Hong Kong, and the forth part is the prediction of Hong Kong and mainland development in Animation.
