"Chuang-Tzu"is the research object in this paper, and the sentence"the universe has great beauty without words"from the chapter of"Chuang-Tzu ? ZhiBeiYou"is the core proposition. In summary, the"great beauty"materializes the"Tao", which representatives the beauty noumenon of the universe. Meanwhile, it also presents the highest level of life, which is beyond the"word"and"image", and must resort the way of understanding. Realization is a self-cultivation effort and a necessary process of achieving the"great beauty". As the aesthetic expression of"achieve Tao", the"great beauty"transformed from the specific art and represents the paramount and aesthetical art realm. As the essence of traditional Chinese culture, the"great beauty"not only provides the spiritual support for the form and the development of spirit of Chinese classical art, but also brings the cultural provision to the art continuation today.From the original context perspective proposed by the"great beauty", this paper carries out a detailed explanation to the semantic meaning of the"great beauty", presenting way and understanding way.
