Basing on the authoritative newspaper in Taiwan, this article compares differences of written language between both sides of the Straits in vocabulary, grammar and punctuation. In vocabulary, we classify the words into the corresponding words and non-corresponding words, and analyze the differences in morphology, acceptation and source ulteriorly. In grammer, we compare the differences with written examples at the angle of accidence and syntax.Among others, the analysis on numeral is more meticulous and comprehensive. In punctuation,we compare the punctuations, which have more differences like ellipsis, interrogation, angle quotes and connecters. This is also more creative than ever. Finally, we analyze the reasons of differences from the angle of foreign languages, dialects, classical Chinese and linguistic policy. Then we advance some referrences for the unitive strategy between the two sides of Straits:research of scholars, communication of media and non-governmental exchange.
