The Comparative Study Of Chinese And English Word Order And Inspiration For Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

In this paper, there is a summary between Chinese and English contrastive study for many years both at home and abroad. This has a high value for teaching and our realistic life. And word order is the important expressing way of language; sequence teaching has particularity in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. So sequence contrast teaching becomes the indispensable content of teaching and research of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In practice, we should carry out sequence teaching periodically, and strengthen sequence teaching through cultivating students of language sense. The words order between Chinese and English is a serious problem that affects the students to learn Chinese well. This paper is to explain the differences of words order between Chinese and English by comparison. The purpose of this paper is to help students to master the differences of the words order between them and to use proper words to express themselves correctly and freely.
