| Career maturity refers to the level of individuals'professional development, and different professional development tasks are required of individuals in different stages of their lives. Normal school students'career maturity means the state and degree of individuals'preparation for their future teaching career during their university years, and it is mainly showcased in professional attitude and professional capability. As individuals, career's maturity is likely to be influenced by personality traits and time management disposition.This research conducts a collective measurement on 1753 full-time normal school graduates, from three provincial normal universities, ranging from freshmen to seniors by adopting career maturity scale for normal school students, Eysenck personality questionnaire (adult) and time management disposition form. Sexes, grade, major and family are the factors to be examined when it comes to the status quo of teachers'career maturity and the influence of personality traits and time management disposition on this group of people's career maturity.The following are the research results:1. Career maturity of normal school students differs because of grade, sex and family, but their choices of majors (arts and science) have no effects on their career maturity.2. Career maturity of normal school students is closely related to personality traits and time management disposition.3. The disposition feature of personality traits and sense of time value and time efficiency of time management disposition have prediction effects on career maturity, and obviously the prediction effect of the disposition feature of personality traits is more powerful than the other factors. |
