In recent years,along with our country higher education system reform develops deep ceaselessly, college music education in piano teaching mode and management system in continuous exploration and improvement. According to the July 29,2010 release of national medium and long-term educational reform and development program (2010-2020)" spirit, combined with the local colleges in Hunan province musicology specialized characteristic, the students' aesthetic changes and the trend of social development, this paper taking Hunan Institute of Science and Technology Academy of music piano teaching situation as an example, through the recent years of piano teaching process a series of problem analysis and summary, the author advocates in the piano teaching pay attention to teach students in accordance with their aptitude, paying attention to students' different characteristics and personality differences, promoting teaching; combined with the characteristics of local college, strengthen the practice application related to learning content; according to the training target and the concept of talents, establish scientific evaluation standard, diversity, promote and perfect the system of credit, the implementation of flexible credit system; at the same time to develop and perfect the corresponding piano grading syllabus and examination standards, encouraging teachers according to the grading teaching conditions or for suitable teaching requirements of the piano, the piano grading teaching sustainable development.
