The Research Of The Vocal Music Education In Ili Teachers' College

The Art College of Ili Teachers' College, located in northwest in Ili Kazakh Autonomous, has been adopting the traditional approaches to Vocal Music Education, which contains lots of shortcomings and needs a educational revolution. However, the revolution is difficult to process as a result of the differences of the customs, cultural backgrounds and religious beliefs. Based on the current situation of Vocal Music Education in Ili Teachers' College, this paper will analyze its basic conditions of teachers and students. Moreover, it will emphasis on the thought of constructing a new pattern of Vocal Music Education in Ili Teachers' College.Several problems were found by a survey of the present situation of Vocal Music Education among both the teachers and the students. And also the teaching materials were analyzed carefully. The main problems are like the following:1. The teaching methods are fixed as a certain and single pattern.2. The courses were set irrationally.3. Students' basic skills are poor and lack of practice.4. The idea of inheriting the national music is not strong.This paper is consisting of four parts. The first part is introduction, including searching cause, methods, significance of the research. The second part is talking about the basic situation of the Art College of Ili Teachers' College, including the basic condition of Ili Teachers' College, the teachers and students in the Art College. The third part is the survey of the current situation of the vocal music education in Ili Teacher's College, including lectures, and the use of teaching materials, the research of "MinZuBan" students' vocal music study (vocal music study background, vocal music learning after admission, language usage, artistic practice and minority troupe), differences among students and some teachers' opinions to vocal music education. The fourth part is the thought of establishing new education pattern in Ili Teachers' college, including vocal music course revolution, improving teachers' team quality, taking advantages of geography, adding characteristic teaching methods.
