This paper has two targets, first of all, extracts 400 high school students(little and senior) of Yongji city Experimental Middle School in Jilin province to understand the overall social anxiety status of these students, and to explore the status of social anxiety differences on gender, grade and parents'higher cultural degree. The second target is to explore the relationship of social anxiety status, metacognitive and life event, and to explore which has prediction function to social anxiety status. Results show that,firstly,the students'most fear or avoid item to the weak item is meeting with strangers, acting or making a speech, and returning goods.Secondly, grade has a significant main effect, and a interaction is between grade and parents'higher cultural degree.Thirdly, social anxiety scale total scores has a significant positive correlation on social anxiety total scores,metacognitive scale total scores, positive beliefs factor total scores, uncontrollability and danger factor total scores, need to control thoughts factor total scores and cognitive self-consciousness factor total scores.Social anxiety scale total scores and cognitive confidence factor total scores has a negative correlation, but no significant correlation.The forth, social anxiety scale total scores has a significant positive correlation on adolescent self-rating life events check list total scores and each factors.The fifth, the factor of learning stress, the factor of cognitive confidence and the factor of cognitive self-consciousness are the prediction to social anxiety.
