This thesis, based on the translation of the cases of two tourism texts, probes into the translating strategies of tourism texts with the purpose of offering practical guidance for professional translation and some departments relevant with tourism, and promoting the dissemination of tourist information and the development of tourism.The paper consists of three parts; the first one gives a brief introduction about the type, functions and characteristics of tourism texts. The second one is the key of the whole paper, which gives a detailed description about the entire process of translating the two cases, and comes up with some flexible translating strategies to problems. The third one arrives at the conclusion about the translator's feelings and puts forward some requirements about professional translation. |
