| Skopos theory defines translation as a purposeful activity and brings more valuable insights into professional translation. This practice-based thesis focuses on the cases and reflects the adaptation of skopos theory applyed in professional translation(C-E).Guided by skopos theory and based on many pragmatic cases, the thesis consists of three Chapters: Chapter one is a general introduction of professional translation, including the character of professional translation and preparation work. The application of strategies and the feasibility of skopos theory in the cases are given in Chapter two. Chapter three is the conclusion. |
