| The informative text mainly aims to transmit information, it values authenticity, accuracy and standardization. Informative texts of high academic quality are used in many fields for their practicability. Under the guidance of Skopos theory, this paper intends to discuss translation strategies, categories, linguistic features of social science texts and questions encountered in the translation process.
