The Analysis And Application Of Metaphor Approach Using In Poster Design

As an important carrier of information transmission, poster design has a long history in the generation and development process. With the development of information society, the developing trend of modern society has brought poster design to fresh content and situation. At the same time, it also brings some challenges. However, the unique value of the performance in poster design is still cannot be replaced by the other media.Rhetoric of the literature used into poster design is an important way to enhance the value of work. For a long time, showing meaning through metaphor is widely applied in poster design through metaphor. It is commonly used in excellent creative design thinking for technique of expression; therefore, the thesis is about analysis and application of metaphor approach using in poster design.Firstly, the thesis defines the poster design and concept of metaphor. From the history and development of posters, different forms of classification and transmission characteristics are described. I make related concepts for the definition of metaphor. Based on metaphorical approach in poster design features, types and forms, I start to analyze the manifestation of the way metaphor and technique for a specific application. And then, I try to present the association, divergence and characteristics associated with the form of metaphor approach between the body and the metaphor in poster design. At the meantime, based on the use of performance practices in its manifestations I summarized the law:and home, combined, alternative and vision imbalance.For these, I read a lot of information and extensive research work. It is done by the image interpretation method combined with metaphorical form of expression and technique targeted comparative analysis of the case. To the designer's point of view, a set of metaphors give the way of creative thinking and a more systematic methods and means applied in poster design.Through the way of the application and analysis of metaphor using in poster design, I selected metaphor posters of public class objects as creative practice. With the posters on the metaphorical understanding, I try to design by myself to prove its feasibility.
