Objects Of Daily Life Graphic Metaphors And Their Use In Poster Design

With the development of information society, poster design, as a carrier to convey visual information, develops continuously in terms of new forms and contents. Linguistic metaphors are often adopted by poster designers. Through daily life utensils graphics research, using a graphical expressed in metaphorical language, the use of metaphor theory, its application in poster design, to develop creative graphics performance practices, providing a theoretical basis and methods for the poster design is conducive graphics meaning the spread in favor of poster design to convey the information content. The graphical objects of everyday life metaphor language, used in the field of creative poster design practice in everyday life through objects and graphic understanding using different creative approach to design, the performance of different emotional relationship.This paper describes the concept of graphics and metaphor as well as the manifestations of symbolic metaphors in poster design. Also, the advantages of daily implement graphics as design elements of poster design and their metaphor applications in poster design are elaborated in this paper, combined with design practice.
