In this study, self-esteem refers to one's attitude towards one's whole self as well as emotional experience about one's self-value and capacity, self-esteem is an important condition for individual mental health; interpersonal relations refer to the associating relations between undergraduates and other individuals or groups concerning to them, the interpersonal relationship problem in university students always is important. The contradiction existed in conclusion of previous studies on the relationship between self-esteem and interpersonal relationship. This study would like to further explore self-esteem, interpersonal relationship and their relationship, and to explore the effects of group counseling of relationship for self-esteem.The30college students were selected to the experimental group and control group."Comprehensive Diagnosis Scale interpersonal Students" and "The Self-Esteem Scale" were selected to measure the two groups. Before the experiment, the experimental group and control group subjects in interpersonal dimensions and level of self-esteem were no significant difference, shown two groups is homogeneous, comparable.The experimental group subjects have7interpersonal relationships group counseling, and the control group was conducted a lecture on emotion management, as a placebo effect. After that, the researcher had a post-test for the two groups.Research results show that:(1)Group counseling for raising the level of interpersonal relationship of college students interpersonal relationships has a significant effect, especially for college students' communicative making friends, have a significant effect.(2) Interpersonal group counseling on improving college students' level of self-esteem have significant effect. More positive interpersonal relationships, higher self-esteem.(3) The main factors affecting the interpersonal relationship include the lack of interpersonal skills, the family factor, personal factors, and dependence on the network.
