In recent years, the violence of middle school students has already become serious social problem, the whole society can not be ignored and. Middle school students violence points to happen in school and its surrounding, and students as the violent, victim or double identity involved in.The behavior use body strength, tools, words, force or trick deliberately to threat or hurt himself, others and group.These behavior causeor is likely to cause students'physical and psychological damage, death, developmental disorders and rights deprived.And influent the normal teaching management order of school. The research on students'violence has gradually be attention of psychological, education, medical scholars etc.And become the research focus.The purpose of the study:(1)Through the questionnaire survey to learn rural middle school students'status quo of violence, encounter violence and witnessing violence.(2)Through the anger control and self-esteem counselling intervention to explore the effective intervention method of middle school violence.MethodsrUse the Research Group's 《The violence of Middle school students'questionnaire》 to investigate student'violence in a Rural middle school. And select three parallel class for intervention study:The experiment class1for anger control intervention,the experiment class2for self-esteem counselling intervention, The control group class for only the general psychological course.Results:The violence of rural middle school students is commonly. Especially between student personality insult probability as high as70.6%. Rural middle school students of violence grade difference is significant: Violence and witnessing violence scoring of the grdde2is highest; grdde3students'scoring take second place;grade1students'scoring is minimum. Students'points in grade3is slightly higher than grade2for encounter violence,grade1students'scoring is minimum. The class cadre or not of rural middle school students'violence are significantly different, the former is lower than the later. Rural middle school violence has not gender gap.Intervention found:Both anger control intervention and self-esteem counselling intervention can reduce experimental class students'violence. With a control group of class not intervene effect are significantly different. But for two classes of different methods on the intervention no difference.Conclusion:(1) Violence, encounter violence and witnessing violence of Rural middle school students have high rates.(2) Rural middle school students of violence grade difference is significant:grade2and grade3are more serious.(3)The class cadre or not of rural middle school students'violence are significantly different, the former is lower than the later.(4) Rural middle school violence has not gender gap.(5) Both anger control intervention and self-esteem counselling intervention can reduce experimental class students'violence.
