The recent research found the relationship between working memory contents and time perception from the objective dimension, indicated that the stimulus stored in working memory was estimated to be longer than the actual time on time perception. When the stimulus that stored in working memory is motion pictures are also estimated to be longer? That has no answer. So this present research from the subjective and objective two aspects to quest the effects of working memory contents on time perception. This study contains two experiments. Experiment1explore the influence of the objective of working memory contents on the time perception by showing objective graphics, a series of images, including color and shape two dimensions. The first picture is required the subjects to remember, and then present a couple of stimulus, which are asked to judge time length of the pictures. And one of this pair pictures is consistent with the first memory one and the other is inconsistent. The former called the matching condition, and latter called the mismatching condition. Experiment1research under the matching condition, whether the subjective motion pictures on time judgment to be extended. The results showed that the working memory task subjects performed better than the time perception tasks, the desired reaction time less545.76ms. And the correct rate of former is higher than the rate of the latter, there is a significant difference between the two tasks. The accuracy of the matching stimulus presentation time is longer than the mismatch stimulus presentation time is higher than the matching stimulus presentation time is shorter than the mismatch stimulus presentation time, but the difference is not significant. That is to say, the stimulus stored in working memory contents on time perception is estimated longer than the actual time, but the difference is not significant. Experiment2goes on researching the relationship of the two tasks from the other dimension—motion. The experiment2procedure is same as the experiment1, except the pictures. On experiment2all the materials are motion pictures. These pictures can be awaked different emotional feelings. I want to get some results from this motion working memory content on time perception. Finally, the results showed the motion working memory contents can affect the time perception process. The motion pictures stored in working memory contents on time judgment can be estimated longer than the actual time. Most time, the subjects'correct rate on the matched stimulus presentation time is longer than the mismatch stimuli presentation time is higher than matched stimulus presentation time is shorter than the mismatch stimulus presentation time. The experiment results are consistent with the original hypothesis. In summary, the working memory contents have an effect on time perception on the subjective situations. The present study, the effect of subjective working memory content is more significant than objective working memory content. On motion working memory content, the matched motion stimulus presentation time is estimated longer than the actual presence. Especially in the positive mood condition, the extension of the effect is more apparent, relative to the neutral and negative conditions. The latter two cases have no significant prolong effect.
