Hui Dialects Rhyming Dictionary "Wucheng Xiangyin Zihui"Phonetic Research

" Wucheng xiangyin zihui " is a book about the Wuyuan county dialect rhyming dictionary, it records the middle of the nineteenth Century Emblem-Wuyuan county dialect speech. The book is divided into4volumes according to level tone,rising tone,departing tone,entering tone. Each volume of the following Yunmu, lists the representative word, as to summarize its phonetic system. The present paper summarize the book style and content of " Wucheng xiangyin zihui ", and reconstrct the Wuyuan County historical phonetic system from initial,final, and tone. Then its speech characteristics with modern Wuyuan county dialect are compared, based on the Wuyuan county dialect for a comprehensive system of phonological analysis, and it would present overall appearance of Wuyuan County Dialect comprehensively and objectively, and show Wuyuan County the evolution of speech near150years.
