There are more and more migrant workers as the transformation of our society , the children who follow them is migrant children, the adjustment problem of migrant children turns up as the environment changed. Some studies show that peer relationshuip is a important factor that affect the school ajustment of migrant children, while, selfconcept is a mediation in the processes that esternal factors internalise to personal quality. So, we mean to explore the self-comcept's mediating effect between peer relationship of migrant children an their school ajustment.The samples of questionnaire examination of the research are 420 migrant children from 3th to 6th grade in two primary school in Cheng Du. It is demonstrated that self-concept has a mediating effect between peer relationgship of migrant children and their school ajustment. Conclusions drawn from the study are:1. In the types of companion's admittance of migrant children, the ignored is the most except the ordinary. The structure of migrant children's friendship quality is resonable, but the whole level is not high. School adaptation of girls is better than boys. The differences among grades in social influences are obvious, grade 3 is higher than grade 6, grade 4 is higher than grade 5, grade 5 is higher than grade 6. There are positive predictions for school adaptation in resolution strategy, accompany and entertainment, acceptance and care, and the conflict and betray has a negative predistion for school ajustment.2. There is a gender difference in the self-concept's development of migrant children. There has a significant correlation between peer relationship and sociality of migrant children. There are significant differences between coventional type and their physical agility, school work and the whole self-concept.3. There are obvious correlations among peer relations, self-concept and school ajustment of migrant children. Multiple regression analysis on the migrants children's relationship between peer relationship, self-concept and school adjustment shows that: migrant children's peer relationship has obvious direct predication on their self-concept and school adjustment; the self-concept has obvious direct predication on their school adjustment; Selp-concept has a complete mediating effect in migrants children's peer relation and their school ajustment; Self-concept partly mideates the relationship between resolution strategy, accompany and entertainiment and school ajustment.
