Practice is an important and indispensable component of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language, practice is an indispensable form in teaching and learning,and exercises play a very important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and is an important part of the teaching materials. The exercises play an important irreplaceable role in the various stages of learning the language and different morpheme learning. Zhao Jinming spoke of:"a textbook be able to make the learners achieve the learning objectives, exercises is important to ensure that, the amount of exercises, the design and the arrangements of exercises, the diversification of means to exercises, all of these can both to test the instructor and learners. Learners can be tested if the exercises done, and do the right thing, and learners on basic grasp of the content of this lesson, it should be said is a good exercises."(Zhao Jinming,1996), this clearly pointed out the exercises materials can not be replaced the important status and important role, and give us the standard of good exercises that should be achieved. Given the crucial role of the exercises, the paper discusses the design of the exercises in the Foreign Language Elementary Spoken Chinese textbooks, the text is divided into six chapters.First chapter part, described the reasons of the topic choose, the status of the research, and research purposes, research methods and the meaning of the research.The first part of Chapter Ⅱ describe the importance of designing exercises in the Foreign Language Elementary Spoken Chinese Books. Thinking of the exercises and to get to a clear definition to the exercises, pointing out that the timing of the exercises, the number of exercises arranged. To point out that the importance of the exercises in the Chinese as a foreign language teaching materials design and based on that we get the analysis of the book of <development of Chinese· Elementary Spoken Chinese (upper and lower)>(Beijing Language and Culture University Press,2004) as an example, the analysis about the preparation of the principles of analysis, and detailed to the small details, and give examples of the general description, pointing out the obvious problems.The third chapter of spoken language practice in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, mainly from the nature of oral practice, the purpose of speaking practice, the difficulty of speaking practice and set the status of spoken language practice to analyze. Which in the current situation analysis which we use the book of <Elementary Spoken Chinese (Volume I)>(Peking University Press Dai GuiFu, Liu Lixin, Li Haiyan) as an example for analysis. The analysis about the preparation of the principles, and give examples of the general description, pointing out the obvious problems.And then compare these two different books as a Foreign Language teaching materials, point out the strengths and weaknesses in the common design practice.The fourth chapter is the theoretical basis for practice design, the theory and materials assessment theory as a guide to the compilation of teaching materials to explore the Chinese as a Foreign Language teaching materials in primary oral practice design principles to be followed, starting from the purpose of oral teaching and learner requirementsThe chapter fifth in the base of the elements exercises and skills practice, select a used three primary spoken Chinese as a Foreign Language teaching materials, analysis of the design of the exercises. One by one voice, vocabulary, grammar and Chinese characters, listening and reading and writing,to give the exercises detailed and objective analysis.The sixth chapter describe the cultural information in Chinese as a foreign language spoken materials. Firstly, describe the presentation of the cultural information in Chinese as a foreign language spoken materials, and focuses on the presentation of the cultural information of Chinese characters. And then describe the important role in the spoken language books, especially the role of the primary spoken language textbook exercises.Chapter seven is the summary, mainly describe the design inspiration drawn after some analysis of the Chinese as a Foreign Language teaching materials in primary oral exercises. Described in four parts, the first description of the relationship between elements practice and skills practice in the Chinese as a Foreign Language teaching materials in primary oral exercises. Secondly, describe the relationship of the Interesting, informative and cultural in the primary spoken language books of Chinese as a Foreign Language, and the third describe that the Chinese characters and Chinese characters choreography in the design of teaching materials in primary oral practice. and finally pointed out that the new forms of practice in Chinese as a Foreign Language teaching materials in primary oral books, and wish to give a new ideas or a new perspective in designing exercises in the primary spoken language books of Chinese as a Foreign Language.
