International nuclear non-proliferation regime is the sum of all national and international laws, treaties, agreements and institutions set up by the international community to prevent nuclear proliferation and to promote nuclear disarmament and nuclear arms control. Sign of the regime official formation is "Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty"(NPT), signed in 1968. After decades of continuous development and improvement, now an integral regime has been established of which NPT is the cornerstone, the International Atomic Energy Agency is the main executive body, and a series of treaties and organizations are important content. International nuclear non-proliferation regime is characterized by extensive, effective, unjust and incomplete. It has played an important role in controlling the number of nuclear-weapon states, promoting the peaceful use of atomic energy and safeguarding regional and world peace and stability. But the regime is unjust in essence, some legal treaties and organizational functions have yet to be perfected. China has experienced a process which involves full resistance, low level participation and full participation. This process is a combined result of international system architecture, international system processes, and state security concepts, which is decided by China's national interests. China's participation in the international nuclear non-proliferation regime has got remarkable achievements, such as safeguarding national security interests, setting up good international image, expanding the ways to participate in international mechanism, increasing available resources in international affairs and so on. Meanwhile, China faces some challenges, such as lack of the right to speak in the regime, the risk of endangering national interests and the hegemonism of superpower hegemony in the non-proliferation area, etc. In the future, China needs to increase right to speak in the regime, to handle the relationship between national interests and international obligations and to boycott double standards and hegemonism of superpower hegemony so as to safeguard national interests of China and the common interests of the mankind better.
