Research On Drinking Water Resource Legislation

That's a big issue in our work of drinking water resources protection, and it's badly affecting the public healthy, social stability and economic development. With economic growth, the acceleration of urbanization and the improved living quality of Zhejiang Province, the carrying capacity of drinking water resource gradually decline. Meanwhile, in Zhejiang Province, the natural resources of water is acute shortage, the quality of drinking water is much poor in some place, the emissions of pollutants is high and so on.Those problems seriously affecting the protection of drinking water resource. So, a local legislation about drinking water resource protection in Zhejiang Province is urgently needed to enacted, that's also the reason why further standard of drinking water resource protection need to be built.This paper discussed current situation about Zhejiang Province's drinking water resource protection legislation and some other problems. Through borrowing ideas from other countries and other province, then combining "Water Pollution Control Ordinance" of Zhejiang Province and the actual situation of drinking water resource protection, this paper marked a argument about the necessity and feasibility of legislation; and conceived "Zhejiang Province's drinking water resource protection regulations", so as to make a contribution to Zhejiang Province's drinking water resource protection legislation.
