People's Armed Police is a special group, which shoulders the mission of defense-preparation duty, deal with contingencies and anti-terrorist war. These tasks require special physical fitness of the officers and men of Armed Police Force, and the officers and men can accommodate to the tough and complicated situation and develop their ability and insure the force can be pulled draw and win only if they have adequate military physical fitness. As the front training base, the grass-roots organization of People's Armed Police can drill the officers and soldiers well or not has respect to the national security, social stability and the stable development of People's Armed Police. Research shows that there are quiet a few problems in the drilling course in the grass-roots organization, which restrict the improvement of physical training, and this requires more in-depth study to the physical training in the grass-roots organization of armed police.According to the region and the feature of assignment, this paper study a random sample of 20 grass-roots organization of armed police. This thesis study the situation of physical training in the grass-roots organization of armed police by the research approach of literature reading, expert interviews, questionnaires, statistics and logic induction, etc. Conclusions are as follows:(1) Influenced by the casual assignment, the accumulated amount of the annual physical training in grass-roots organization of armed police usually can not meets the standards of Military Training and Evaluation Outline, which affectes the quality of physical training.(2) Two-time physical fitness quality indicators test and compare shows that the physical training effect in grass-roots organization of armed police is not significant and the level of training needs to be improved.(3) The status in quo and problems of physical training in grass-roots organization of armed police: coaches quality is not high; officers and men's understanding on physical training has discrepancies; the physical training content in basic unit needs to be improved; ways and means of physical training is not scientific enough; officers and solder's mental disorders and sports injuries affect physical training; lack of funds and facilities can not meet the needs of training.(4) The factors which affect the level of physical training in grass-roots organization of armed police are various, such as coaches, solders, training skill, military mission and facilities.(5) The countermeasures to improve the level of physical training of Armed Police officers and soldiers include: introduction of sports professionals and strengthening the training of existing coaches; breaking with the conventional ideas and improving the awareness of physical fitness of officers and men; improving the content of physical training and reforming physical training methods; arranging the training time reasonably and flexible to avoid the conflict with military mission; laying more emphasis on the psychological adjustment of soldiers in physical training; enhancing sports injury prevention in physical training; increasing input and improving training infrastructure.
