China's sea area is about 473 million square kilometers, which contained rich marine fishery resources.The government of China has formulated series of laws and relevant policies to regulate and guide the development of marine fishery resources.Especially with the China ocean development strategy proposed,marine fishery has been developed vigorous in recent years.South Korea is surrounded by sea on three sides, which is a typical peninsula country.Beside Korea maritime natural condition is superior,which also has rich marine fishery resources.As is well known to all ,marine industry make a important role in national product of South Korea,and the fishing industry is even known as South Korea's "aquatic food".The government of South Korea has paid much attention to the development and protection of marine fishery resources,and hace formulated a series of laws and policies to realize the sustainable development of marine fishery resources.Therefore,the two countries both has some advanced experience in terms of development and protection of marine fishery resources,which could reference for each other. From a practical sense, in addition to the marine fishery resources has play a indispensable part in both of two countries,the two countries also face the almost identical realistic problems.Because of pollution of marine environment,red tide and overfishing probolems has led to serious recession in fishery resources,many coastal water have no fish to catch now.Use the tool of law and policy to solve these problems is a common and urgent issue of the two countries.In addition,the two countries has close geopolitical link in terms of marine fishery resources,and signed sino-South Korean fishing agreement.Based on this,do the research on comparative study on marine fishery resources in China and South Korea.The paper includes foreword, main part and conclusion.The first part introuduces the general marine fishery of the two countries.This part expatiates the natural condition of the two countries in terms of marine fishery resources and introuduces in details the two countries' status of development of marine fishery.Analyzed the problems which Korean and Chinese in the development of marine fishery facing common. The second part introuduces the two countries development status of marine fishery.The third part selected some important laws and policies to have comparative study.The forth part expatiates the cooperation between China and South Korea.First introuduces the exclusive economic zone system,and then focusing on the sino-South Korean fishing agreement,discuss the implementation and problems of it.
