Pension Service Mode Of Urban Communities Study

With the development of economy and science and technology, the aging population problem and the way of pension is increasingly arising people's attention. In the past, influenced by traditional concept and limited by the material living level, people mostly adopted the traditional way of family pension. Then, with the change of people's concept and the change of family structure, institutional pension has become people's preference. However, due to the limited government finance, the high cost and immature way of operation of itself, the institutional pension cannot meet the increasing demand of pension both in quantity and quality. Therefore, a new mode of pension named as the community pension service is becoming a favorite option of people as it is a all-around pension mode because it has the family pension mode as its core, it has the community resource as its foundation and it has a dependence on the professional service team.On the basis of research on the documents about the mode of pension and a clear definition of community and community service, the paper will have a case study on the reasonable and proper mode of pension for Pudong New Area in Shanghai according to its real condition.Then, the paper will put forward some suggestions on improvement of the recent community pension service.Altogether, there are six sections in this paper. The first section is the introduction, including the background,the purpose and meaning as well as the main structure of the article. The second section is the research on relevant documents, mainly focusing on the definition of community, community service and different researches on the mode of pension. The third section is a case study on the mode of pension in Pudong New Area. This section is mainly composed of the comparison and analysis of four typical ways of community pension service, a questionnaire made among the elderly people in Gaohang Town which is located in Pudong, and some necessary analysis. The fourth section is useful experience of mode of community pension service both at home and abroad. On the basis of section three and section four, the fifth section will have a meaningful thinking and exploration on the question about how to improve the recent community pension service in Pudong.The sixth section serves as a conclusion.
