The villagers'committee election of China is the electoral reform of the first appears since the reform, involving more than 900 million farmers. It is the election which the largest number of people participatingin. The villagers'electoralsystem of China has existed for over 20 years, it has become an important form of the vast number of peasants' political participation. The regional characteristics of the rural areas where one's clan lives and the traditional concept of peasant think highly of blood make the clan power still exist, particularly in Xiaoliangshan region where the Yi people highly dependent on " ineage".The concept of "lineage" have far-reaching effects on politics, economy and culture in rural areas, especially in village-level democratic elections have been display thoroughly.This article based on field survey to situation of village elections in several administration village in Hongqiao countryside of Ninglang Yi autonomous county. Furthermore, interviewing and extensively collecting the case of the other Yi village. A brief analysis of the Yi nationality "lineage" concept is how to influence the election and the reasons causing this effect. And try to put forward a few pieces of advice to solve the problem from various angles. This article mainly uses analysis of literature, history analysis and empirical analysis. This article contains five parts. The first part focuses primarily on the research reasons and its significance, identifies research methods and theoretical tool, combing the document and literature at home and abroad. The second section mainly discuss the formation, change, contents and characteristics of Yi"lineage"concept. The third part, analysis of Xiaoliangshan Yi " lineage concept on the influence of village-level democratic election process and result based on field surveying and interviewing to the Yi people in Xiaoliangshan area. The fourth part mainly discuss Yi " lineage " concept negative impact on the elections and the cause. The fifth part try to provid a few pieces of advice from a multi-dimensional to village-level democratic elections for Xiaoliangshan region, hoping offer some reference to the villagers' committee elections of Xiaoliangshan Yi Nationality region.
