The Study On Construction Of Peasants' Subject Consciousness In Progresses Of Modernization

The building of a new socialist countryside and the solving of issues of agriculture, peasants, and countryside are the substantials of China social modernization. In a certain sense, the strategic and difficult point is nothing else than the modernization of agriculture problem. Peasant is the subject in the issue of agriculture, and the important symbol of establishment of their subject consciousness is that they possess subject consciousness. The modernization of peasants is of crucial importance for our country in the modernization. Because of the inner relationships between humans' model of action and subject consciousness, the launch of modernization will be accompanied by the rising of subject consciousness in people's spiritual life as a matter of course. Therefor, problems in the process of modernization are unaffectedly assignable. In modern society, it is a very urgent task currently to foster and train millions upon millions new-style peasants to be the principal part of construction of new countryside and modernization, and to keep them playing a role of the principal part constantly and furthest. Besides, China is in the period of both rapid development and major challenges today, thereupon rural society is changing convulsively no matter the field of the hierarchical structure, life-styles, or peasants' mind. In the condition of the modernization paying attention to the changes of peasants' subject consciousness is particularly significant. Studying the establishment of subject consciousness in our modernization intensively, grasping its progress and trends of development and its problems and causes, finding realistic approaches of building subject consciousness, is inevitable demand of arousing peasants' subject consciousness, quickening building of peasants' subject consciousness, and developing peasants' subject roles. It is beneficial for our socialistic construction of new countryside and solving of problems of agriculture, victory of building well-off society in an all-round way, building a harmonious socialist society, and speeding up socialist modernization at the present stage. As the study of the construction of peasants' subject consciousness in progresses of Chinese modernization is a heavy issue, the author should master clear thinking, scientific method, and multi-disciplinary knowledge. In this text the author upheld the guiding role of scientific world outlook and methodology of Marxism, adhered to orientation of the linking theory with practice, and applied the means of document study, comparative analysis, integrate of history and logic, and combination of emphasis study and ordinary study. Being realistic, the author summaried the development tendency of peasants' subject consciousness in progresses of modernization by means of searching the development history of the construction of peasants' subject consciousness systematically, analysed further problems of construction of peasants' subject consciousness in our country presently, and found out the causes of these problems. In the end, the author discussed the approaches of construction of peasants' subject consciousness from the fields of politics, economy, culture, and society.Peasants' subject consciousness as reflect of peasants' subjectivity is a challenge of peasants' traditional characteristics, and an embodiment of peasants' modernity, and it expresses a trends of humans' modernization. The author in this thesis studied the issue of building peasants' subject consciousness tentatively, in order to bring it to the forefront, make up for the deficiency academically and be beneficial to the current construction of the new countryside and socialist modernization practically.
