Research On The Effects Of New Socialist Countryside Construction On The Realiazation Degree Of Peasant Modernization

Human modernization is an important part of social modernization. In China, farmersaccount most of the population, so peasant modernization is crucial. Increasing the degree ofthe peasant modernization can inject greater vitality to the development of economic andsocial progress After reforming and opening up, China’s "three rural issues" is highlighted andthe farmers’ problems gets more and more the attention of many scholars. The people’sGovernment of Hebei Province continues increasing efforts to equip agriculture infrastructure,inputing a large number of agricultural technical personnel to the vast rural areas andarranging many college students to village, which will creates all kinds of ways for farmers tounderstand the modern theory, guide peasants to learn more advanced science and technology.In other way, what above said also can rich practical skills for farmers, improve thecomprehensive quality and enhance the farmers’ degree of the realization of the modernization,in order to close the gap between the urban and rural development at a certain extent, makingthe farmers and city residents as equal citizens fairly who will enjoy the fruits of reform andopening up and social and economic developmentAfter years of efforts the party and the masses, the situation of rural areas and farmershas been improved and farmers modernization greats great achievements which promotes theprocess of building a harmonious society. However, restricted by natural conditions,production lack of infrastructure and life supporting facilities, the broad masses of hebeiregion still hold a strong tradition of feudal consciousness, especially in poor areas, such asweak modern advanced ideas, traditional way of thinking and way of life. How to promoteand perfect the construction of the new socialist countryside will be the key to improve thedegree of peasant modernization.This paper firstly introduces the backgrounds, significance, researching status quo athome and abroad, methods, contents, the innovations and the shortcomings of this paper.Secondly, combining with the actual situation of Hebei Province, the paper puts forward therelationship model of the new socialist countryside which affects the degree of realization ofthe peasant modernization on the basis of the literature of peasant modernization and new socialist countryside.The paper makes farmers of eight socialist countrysides for subjectinvestigated.Utilizing the descriptive statistics analysis, reliability and validity testing,correlation analysis, stepwise regression analyze the data from the sample survey. The most ofthe hypotheses has been tested.The results of this research shows that: firstly, the new socialist countryside constructionand the peasant modernization are positively correlated in Hebei Province, namely, thedevelopment of production, the affluent life, the civilized countryside, the clean and tidyvillage and the democratic management promote the peasant modernization. Secondly, inhebei province, the building of socialist countryside makes more achievements, especially inthe aspect of production development, life well-off, countryside civilization, village andtownship economy rapid development. But the countryside still lacks of a unified scientificplanning, wasting disposal problems still exist, the using of public facilities rate is low, theefficiency of the service management is low. The construction of a new socialist countrysidestill needs to intensify our efforts to promote.Thirdly, the modernized level of farmers in hebei region pilot villages have improvedand the farmers’ life style, production modernization realization degree is relatively good, butstill has certain gap compared with city. The way of farmers’ social behavior to modernizationis relatively weak, the rural network coverage is poor. The task of Farmers’ modernization ismore difficult.And then the paper puts forward the suggestions to enhance the peasant modernization:attach the great importance to the peasant modernization, promote the new socialistcountryside construction, thus, promoting the process of the peasant modernizationcomprehensively from the economic aspect, political aspect, educational aspect, recreationalaspect and other aspects.
