As the direct beneficiaries of the promotion of agricultural technology, to a great extent, the subjectivity of farmers influences the results of the promotion of agricultural technology. Subjectivity consciousness is the psychological and practice consciousness which are reflected in the activity of practice objectification by the subject towards the nonego. It is the consciousness of independence, initiative and creativity reflected by the subject in the practice, and shown through the subject's recognition, evaluation and behavioral tendencies towards the nonego and himself.This study based on the theory of people's subjectivity of Marxist, and it also use the following theories for reference such as:the subjectivity consciousness of Western Philosophy, the relevant principles of psychology that is about the essence and composition of consciousness, then discussed the farmers'subjectivity consciousness in the process of popularizing the new varieties of rice. It took the promotion of a new variety of rice as an example and the farmers in village L of Town Duandian, Ezhou City as the research objects. Through questionnaires, interviews and analysis of the description and correlation of the data, this thesis reveals the current situation of the farmers'cognition, evaluation and behavioral tendencies during the promotion of a new rice variety in village L. Then it discusses the influence of the farmers'own ability, the variety of rice and the promotion environment on the current situation mentioned above. And on this basis, it puts forward counter measures and suggestions.The thesis is divided into five parts:Part I:Introduction. It mainly discusses the topic from the perspective of its background, purpose, significance, bibliography and research design which includes the definition of promotion of agricultural technology and subjectivity consciousnesses, research ideas, research methods and the innovation of the research.Part II:The theoretical basis of the subjective consciousness. We discussed the theoretical basis of the subjective consciousness from this three theories:subjectivity consciousness of Western philosophical thoughts, The essence and composition of consciousness in psychology, and Marx's ideas about subjectivity of human.Part III:This part is about the analysis of the Village L's farmers'subjectivity consciousness during the promotion of a new rice variety. It analyzed those farmers' cognition of the significance, role, national policies of the promotion of a new variety and characteristics of the new variety, their evaluation on the new variety and the promotion service quality and the behavioral tendencies in choosing new varieties and participating training and related rural cooperative organizations.Part IV: This part is about the analysis of factors influencing farmers' subjectivity consciousness during the promotion of a new rice variety in Village L. Those factors include farmers' own quality, the variety of rice and the promotion environment. It respectively describes farmers' education, the area of the farmland, agricultural income and the level of organization, the risks associated with rice varieties, characteristics, technical difficulty and their costs and the social promotion environment, the policy and legal environment, technology services environment, infrastructure and other service conditions on the subjectivity consciousness.Part V: Conclusions and suggestions. The following conclusions are drawn from the analysis. Firstly, the farmers have clearer understanding about the significance of the promotion of the agricultural technology, but their knowledge about the policies, organization, related service department and the characteristics of new varieties needs to be improved. In their eyes, promotion of new varieties does not seem to play a role. Secondly, the farmers are not very satisfied with the new rich varieties and the promotion service. Thirdly, the farmers'conduct awareness of trying new varieties, participating in cooperative organizations and related technology training are to be improved. Fourthly, the influential factors should be analyzed from the inner and outer aspects. On basis of this, three suggestions are put forward. Firstly, the government should improve farmers' overall ability comprehensively and train farmers with new ideas. Secondly, they should greatly enhance the competitive ability of new varieties and promote the excellent varieties. Thirdly, they should fully mobilize all positive factors to create a good environment.Partâ…¥:The deficiencies of this research and the prospects. Due to many restrictions, there are some deficiencies in this research, such as the insufficient theoretical basis, the research area and the limitations of sample data.
