Research On The Function Of University Student Village Official In Agricultural Science And Technology Extension

Promoting agriculture by applying science and technology is the inevitable alternative that our country agriculture develops.It is also an important strategy to solve the three agriculture-related issues.The project of college graduates as village officials which made by the Chinese Communist Party and the government is a vital decision to develop rural economic and social.By the means of providing qualified personnel,which is knowledgeable,skilled,as well as be able to manage and be good at business,it pushes forward the talent exchange of urban and rural areas,injects fresh impetus and energy into the new rural construction and promotes rural construction and development.Therefore,we study the role of undergraduates as village officials in promoting the service of agricultural science and technology,which has highly practical significance.It will not only improve the plight of agricultural and technology contingent,but also trap the undergraduates-village-officials' potential in servicing the three agriculture-related issues.Changxing is one of the county which first achieved “a village-a community-a undergraduate”.In the past decade,Changxing has already selected 313 undergraduates to be the village officials,promoting the rural economy of Changxing county.According to the review of previous research,analysis of open-ended questionnaire and interview with the undergraduates-village-officials,the author intensively studies the effect of undergraduates-village-officials in promoting agricultural science and technology form the aspects of theory and reality.It is found through research that the undergraduates-village-officials' effects are constrained by weak consciousness,inadequate capacity and absent mechanism.This thesis puts forward four proposals to achieve the effect which undergraduates-village-officials made in agricultural science and technology.
