Research On Influential Factors Of Community Endowment Service Satisfaction In Shanghai City

Following the implementation of birth control policy and the gradually entering into aging about the people who were born in middle of last century, the quantity of the aged has been increasing continually, the propotion of the aged in social total population has been raising, the step of aging is quicker and quicker in our country. Until the year of 2009, the number of the aged who exceed 60 years old had reached to 167 million, which accounted for one eighth of total population in our country, and the number of the aged who exceed 80 years old had reached to 18.99 million. Nowadays, the rate of population flow has been raising while the economic development, many young people can not live with their parents or relatives because of attending school or job, which causes the situation that more and more young people are not able to take care of the aged in home, additionally, the change of living concept among young people and the increase of social work participation rate for women are also influential factors, the traditional family-support endowment mode for the aged has begun to be attenuate. Located in eastern developed areas of our country, the problems of the aggravation of aging and the weakened family-support endowment mode for the aged are serious particularly in Shanghai City, Until the year of 2009, the number of the aged who exceed 60 years old had reached to 3.157 million in Shanghai City. As a new endowment mode, community endowment has started to obtain more and more extensively attention from the aged and society, it can not only atone for deficiency of current family endowment but also have merits that social-agency endowment mode can not have. In Shanghai City, community endowment is developing fast, almost every residential community are providing community endowment service that includes many items currently, the aged residents will make a appraisement about the whole satisfaction after accepting community endowment service, the level of this satisfaction is influenced by some factors. It is meaningful to find out these factors and to analyze their influential level by empirical research, which can help us and community endowment service workers to know the main influential factors that affect community endowment service satisfaction, the result of this research will urge the relevant departments to improve community endowment service and to enhance community endow- ment service satisfaction from the aged residents in Shanghai City.Based on the established satisfaction model, this thesis proposes three research dimensi- on, which are the image of community, the apperception quality of community endowment service, the utilization of the aged service facilities in community, this thesis makes empirical research on influential factors of community endowment service satisfaction in Shanghai City, pointing out that participation, tangibles, empathy in the apperception quality of community endowment service dimension are main influential factors, the environmental image in the image of community dimension is alsoa main influential factor. In the utilization of the aged service facilities in community dimension, the utilization of the body-building apparatus and the activity room in community has a influence on community endowment service satisfaction, the utilization frequency of these facilities has a positive relationship with community endow- ment service satisfaction by contrastive analysis. Based on the conclusion from research, in order to improve community endowment service and enhance community endowment service satisfaction from the aged, the thesis proposes nine pieces of suggestion, they are (1) Building platform for the aged residents's participation; (2) Enhancing service intensity, Increasing ser- vice content; (3) Reinforcing the communication with the aged residents; (4) Strengthening the construction of the aged service facilities in community; (5) Establishing fine service image; (6) Improving service efficiency; (7) Encouraging pluralism of service providers; (8) Strengthening the construction of service talent team; (9) Advocating young people to enhance the consciousness of respecting and supporting the aged.
