Research On The Social Assistance Of Vagrant And Beggar In Tangshan

As a result of the change of economic structure and globalization, the poverty hasbeen a very serious social issue in China. Especially, how to aid and relief floatingpopulation coming from other place became a very important and pressure problem inlarge cities. Thus, taking a sociology study to the social vulnerable group in the floatingpopulation has a quite important significance both in theory and practice.This article begins with discussion on the theories of social assistance for vagrantsand beggars. This study made a complete and system analyze on the problem of urbanvagrants and beggars by the theories and methods of sociology, psychics management andso on. Moreover, collected many first hand data by sample questionnaire and observe.Detailed understanding on Tangshan's current vagrant and beggar social assistanceprogram is acquired.Through the analysis of the data, from the two aspects of the beggars and the aidproviders on social assistance, existing problems are shown. The introduction of the threespiral model will help analyze appropriate roles on social assistance of the government,the public, non-governmental organizations, which will give a conclusion that these threeparties should interact and realize the dynamic balance.
