The Research Of Cramsci's Theory Of Cutural Hegemony

Antonio Gramsci is the founder and leader of Italian communist party and representative of the early Marxism. He insisted on exploring the road of proletarian revolution from country's physical truth and proposed creatively the theory of cultural hegemony which means acquiring revolution victory by non-violence action. Cultural hegemony of Gramsci which was rich,profound and originality creatively explained and elucidated Marxism. Based on cultural hegemony, this paper explained its produce and content and its significant influence on our country's culture and ideology under the background of globalization.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part expound the birth of Gramsci's cultural hegemony from background and theory of social history. Failures of European proletarian revolutionary and the beginning of Mussolini's ruling was the international and domestic environment and the ideas of Machiavelli, Benedetto Croce, Marx and Lenin were theoretical basis. The second part explained the basis content of cultural hegemony and deeply proclaimed its full view from five parts, including its basis-practical philosophy,theoretical premise-civil society,realized subject-organic intellectuals,practical tactics-positional warfare and organizational foundation. The third part discussed the contemporary enlightenment of cultural hegemony. At the background of globalization, faced with a serious challenge of western ideology's penetration and aggression, we should keep our mind clearly and strengthen our construction of socialist ideology by taking effective measures.
