Research On Civic Awareness Of Rural Residents In The View Of Marxism Of Contemporary China

Civic awareness is considered the necessary psychological and ideological factors of modern democratic states,it is self-awareness to their rights,obligations,social status and consititutes an important part of social political culture. Rural residents form an indispensable group for the cause of socialist construction in China. Improvment of rural residents'civic awareness is not only the key to build new socialist countryside, realize rural modernization and construct rural grass-roots democracy in rural area, but also a new trend for improving the quality of all citizens from the view of Marxism of Contemporary of China. However, civic awareness in rural China is not fully developed and there are still some constraits in terms of its cultivation. This dissertation, based on the content and scientific method of Marxism, explores the strategy for cultivation of rural residents's civic awareness in fields of economics, politics, education and cultural enviroment.
