It also receives public figu re's attention about the water communication of the law enforcement. S tudy Shanxi Province's present situation of water communication law en forcement, is advantageous for deeply understand the historical evolutio n of water communication and the positive role it played. In 1998, according to "Marine environment Protection method", "Aquatic Transportation Act of Security", "Inland river Traffic safety Act of administration" and other laws and regulations were auth orized the Chinese Marine board mainly to exercise the following fun ctions:the country aquatic safety surveillance to manage, to prevent th e ships pollution, the ships and the marine facility examination, and th e navigation safeguard administration authority. According to the nation al law, the laws and regulations authorization, the Shanxi Province plac e maritime affair is the law enforcement agency, receives instructions o f the service from the National Marine board.This article elaborates the Shanxi Province water communication la w enforcement present situation from four parts.
