As the competition in global military field becomes more fierce, and with the development of military management theory and practice, the reformation of military technology and army organization system is not only a new military transformation, but also a reformation of army human resource management. How to attract qualified people and build appropriate system for selecting are vital important, performance management is wildly adopted in army's human resource management. How to attract and keep the qualified people in the army is an urgent and important task. The new military reform is not only the technology reform and structure reform, but also the human resource reform. In China, the application of performance management in army is just the beginning.The essay takes the example of a troop, base on the SWOT theory, combines the theory and practice, using BSC theory module to analyses the present situation of performance management applying in army system. And point out the deficiency of their performance management, and offers an appropriate solution which built a integrated system with four parts. According to the result, determine the performance indicator system for each organization post, and eventually build the performance management system of the army unit.The essay takes the example of the troop, showing the practice of applying performance management into army human resource management, appoint out the deficiency and offer solutions. The example of the troop will provide some reference value to the application of performance management within army system.
