On The Law Of Regional Competition Of Civil Airport In China

With the localization of Airport administration in China, the operating mechanism becomes flexible and marketized. Merger and acquisition, investment and competition of various kinds appear in the industry. Attentions are drawn to resource wasting from regional competition of the industry. Nowdays, the present insititution of law has not kept abreast with it. There are no other provisions restricting such behaviour except some department regulations and rules. Under such circumstances, the control of the competition within airport industry in China relies, to some extent, solely on some policies and governmental decisions. The insititution of law falls far behind the needs of airport progress. Understanding and solving these problems are of the utmost importance in civil aviation security and airport development.Many western countries, whereas, have rich experiences of law legislation and civil aviation development on competition. How to learn from them and strengthen the legal system is vital to the growth of airport industry in China.This dissertaion will describe the characteristics of regional monopoly,Status and competition in the airport industry of China, the necessity of developing corresponding laws and means of developing them. It will also point out the problems the new laws dedicated to solve, and suggest the framework of the laws.
