In the 1970s, our country began to implement the One-child policy. With the deepening implementation of One-child policy as well as the development of social economy, a batch with the one-child add the middle-aged parents was appeared as the main body of the new" empty nest".Compared with the general academic research in the senior "empty nest" family, the new" empty nest", obviously combined with new features such as the sudden change of family structure, the main body of a family is younger etc. In the face of sudden changes in family structure and longer" empty nest" period, parents in those families need to adapt themselves mentally and physically during the adjustment period. This process is called the new" empty nest" parental role transformation and role reconstruction process. Based on the perspective of the role theory, through empirical study of the T city in Jiangsu province, start with the coming of the new" empty nest ", this paper at first discussed the new" empty nest" family parental role disturbance risk, which were elaborated in the face of the new" empty nest" the role reconstruction content, analyzed the effect of the success and failure about the role reconstruction to the family and society, and in accordance brought out some useful suggestions.
