Prose Teaching, Foster Healthy Personality

The "basic ideology of curriculum" , which is in The New Course Standard of Middle School Chinese, pointed out that, "the abundant humanistic connotation of the spirit has great influence on the students, and the students' reflects always are multicomponent. Therefore, we need to think highly of Chinese's edifying influence on students ,and pay attention to the value orientation of the teaching content. Meanwhile, we also should respect the students' unique experience during learning. " We can see that Chinese teaching is not only of instrumental, but also of humanities. It has favorable advantages on cultivating students' perfect personality. Prose teaching is the main site for Chinese teaching. This article is mainly to discuss the relationship between connotation of sound personality and Chinese teaching of middle school , and how to cultivate students' sound personality during prose teaching.The first part summed up the connotation of sound personality, the need of cultivating middle school students' sound personality, and the connotation of cultivating the students' sound personality.The second part discussed the function of prose teaching on cultivating students' sound personality. The third part is about the problem which should be pay more attention to during the prose teaching. The fourth part is about the strategy to cultivate sound personality in prose teaching.Based on the above analysis, we can get such conclusion. Chinese teaching is not only the tool of communication, but also the tool of thought and the tool of being a human.
