As one constituent part of school sport, extracurricular physical training is also a significant content of cultural developments in colleges and universities. Nowadays, extracurricular physical training has become important life-styles in colleges and universities. This life-style can invigorate health effectively, improve general level of the health further, train awareness and habits of life-long sports, and it is one of basic means to achieve the purpose of school sport too. But, in recent years, the pertinent data demonstrates that physique of students declines year by year. Improving and enhancing the physical conditions of students, mobilizing more students to join in the sports activities and from good habits on physical training has become the most urgent problem to be solved. The author's data is achieved by issuing and analyzing questionnaires in nine universities of Liaoning Province, and more than nine hundred students take part in the research on personal physical training. This paper analyzes and discusses the current situation which students of colleges and universities take part in physical training, puts forward the countermeasures on these pertinent problems:1. Liaoning university with 71 percent of college students like to participate in sports exercise, including weekly exercise 1-2 times the number of the students 51%, take exercise every week 3 to 4 times the number of the students, and 14% clear purpose, this suggests that students have stronger sports consciousness, but the actual number of taking part in physical exercise duration exercise intensity are unsatisfactory, with known considerably2. In Liaoning Province, undergraduates don't have enough comprehension on the policy of physical training, and few of them work out a program on training for themselves. 15.7% of undergraduates dislike physical training with severe gender imbalance. In the students who don't take part in physical training, 78% of them have plans to join sports activities in future.3. In Liaoning Province, the primary locations which undergraduates have physical training are gyms, and few of them do the sport activities in charged stadiums. The items are also presented gender differences. The degree of satisfaction on Sport facilities is low.4. In Liaoning Province, the undergraduates don't have a deep comprehension onfunctions of physical training, and sports consumption makes a few shares in total consumption which can not meet the demand of physical training.5. In Liaoning Province, the undergraduates don't attach importance to the physical training seriously. In colleges and universities, atmosphere of physical training is weak, and the extracurricular physical training is not organized enough.
