Content: In this paper,"Senior Chinese Curriculum Standards"to language teaching and reading ability of the guidance requirements for the starting point of reading the current language teaching in high school some of the obstacles encountered in practice, try using a variety of teaching methods, and explore a number of lines of effective guidance to students to self, and consciously extracurricular reading, extra-curricular ways and means of self-language education, in order to effectively improve student interest in language learning and the ability to achieve"Senior Chinese Curriculum Standards", the required curriculum objectives. Paper is divided into three parts: the first chapter, detailed interpretation of"Senior Chinese Curriculum Standards"for students reading ability of the objectives and requirements, analyze their activities in educational practice guidance, which teachers should be how to interpret and put into practice. Chapter II, to reflect the current high school experience of language teaching in general but is difficult to fundamentally solve the problem, from reading purposes, reading skills, and several other point of view cause of the problem; and that the existing high school language teaching materials for the center to teacher-centered over the drawbacks of rigid form of training; described the objective factors of poor reading environment, the impact of reading activities. The third chapter, propose specific solutions, that is, students working in extra-curricular language world wide, looking for new excitement of reading and cultivate a new interest in reading, new reading direction. Methods to inspire students to"be happy to read"the interest and perseverance to be individualized for different types of students, teachers and students interact to learn and continuously improve their reading literacy in order to better guide the students. Through these analysis and practical exploration of language teaching in high school to create a better environment for both teaching and learning in improving student achievement, while the language, but also to cultivate good reading habits, language literacy and the construction of qualified personnel.
