By analyzing the chosen contents from modern article, the characteristics and the composition of the examination paper setting for high school entrance examination and by analyzing junior students' present situations in modern article reading, the article makes clear the close relationship between reading ability in modern article and Chinese thinking ability. Then teachers develop students reading ability in specific modern article reading teaching practice and enable students to understand materials fully by leading students to individual comprehension and their emotion participation. Besides, teachers make good use of outside modern article reading to improve students' reading ability eventually by "acquisition promoting learning".Chapter One: Collecting related modern literature reading data of high school entrance examination and analyzing the paper's characteristics and the composition of the chosen modern article in detailed through practice and research.Chapter Two: Studying reading ability in modern article, making clear the structure of Chinese thinking ability in modern article reading and the importance of developing modern article reading ability through Chinese thinking ability.Chapter Three: The core of the degree paper and also the teaching practice part. The article demonstrates its discussion from five aspects;Stimulating students' interest in modern literature reading; Developing students' intergratcive perception ability in article; Developing students' Chinese thinking ability; Training students' reading skills in modern article; Directing students' outside modern article reading in a scientific way.
