To talk about the new teachers'development is an old topic, and different experts and scholars have different viewpoints. It's difficult for new teachers to become the distinguished teachers or eligible teachers, if they are not directed and helped by the old and experienced teachers in their teaching. In 2006, the New Curriculum Reform was put forward, which posed many challenges for all the teachers. The old teachers can quickly adjust their teaching instructions or methods to meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard by their experience. However, the new curriculum reform made new teachers bear much heavier burden, since it posed more requirements for new teachers who have more to learn. Besides, the new teachers didn't receive enough concern and help from the nation and society at home, and it's hard for them to improve their teaching level in a short time. This research was intended to learn about the present situation of new teachers'development by questionnaire and case interviews, and discover the problems and questions. Then referring to present theories and other experienced teachers'teaching methods, the writer analyzed the questionnaire and the notes of case interviews and then worked out these problems in new teachers. This thesis can be divided into four parts, the first part, is explaining the reason and meaning of choosing this topic; the second part, is literature review, besides makes a summary of former scholars'viewpoints and discoveries, the writer pointed out the shortcomings; the third part, is the research part by making use of questionnaire and case interviews to learn about new teachers; the fourth part, is introducing the methods the writer working out to help new teachers'development.Since the writer only did the research in senior high school, some samples in other junior schools or primary schools were missed, and the researching was not very representative. Besides, some samples were beyond the writer's ability to research, and the samples were only parts of Liaoning Province, so it cannot represent the whole condition of new teachers in the country. But the writer hopes to solve the problems that he discovered and helped more new teachers to develop quickly.
