Research On Problems And Countermeasures For The Schools Of Non-local Workers' Children

With the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics steadily, the acceleration of urbanization, a large number of rural labor flooded into cities. In quite a long period, this phenomenon will last out. It had promoted the development of cities. on the other hand, it also had caused some new social problems, especially including the education of non-local workers'children.In China, with the background of compulsory education, non-local workers' children had been excluded from formal education system because of absent city household register. After "Two priority policies", the education of non-local workers'children had been pay attention. Since the limited resources of city public school, it cannot meet the needs completely. The schools of non-local workers'children had partially solved this axe, but it hadn't have the same treatment as the city public school such as the reason of system or policy. It still confronted with many problems, such as lack of funds, primitive conditions and lack of teachers, school management is not standard, etc.With the investigation of the 53 non-local workers'children schools in Hangzhou city, and the experience of floating population children compulsory education at home and abroad, this paper expounds the present problems of non-local workers'children schools in Hangzhou. Based on the analysis of system and policy, it gives advice concerning the development of non-local workers'children schools.
