The level of the big-break activities can also reflect the school spirit, style of study, the culture and atmosphere of a class as well as good mental outlook on the whole. The school that carries out big-break activities with good quality must be a school with the features of flexible learning styles, healthy school spirit, and strict school discipline. It will turn out healthy-typed students with high cultural quality and strong bodies. (In the course of reform on the big-break activities, the open and flexible big break needs much higher requirement to organization and management, which can make management more systematic and flexible, and students both self-management and creativity and self-discipline and control. Meanwhile, the big-break activities enable fully to carry on the spirit of the View Issued by the State Council under the Lea(?)hip of CCPCC to Strengthen the Youths'Sports and Constitutions. At the same time, they are also the goal and significance the article aims to get.The physical exercise during the big break is a type of organizational form which has been developed into the new break activity in recent years. The rural and urban schools of Beijing altogether with other cities have launched this kind of activity rapidly. The duration of the big break arrives at 30 minutes on average. Comparing with the traditional exercise between classes, the physical exercise of the big break has such features below, like multi-activities, varieties of the organizational form, length in time, moderate strength in exercise suitable to the participation between teachers and students, the visible advantage and effect. On the one hand, the big break may work well on the health both physically and mentally and adjust the tense learning mood of students; on the other hand, it may also motivate students' interest in physical exercise and exert the subjective initiative of students and develop a good habit of physical exercise, which lays a solid foundation for good physical quality. However, as a kind of newborn thing, the launching of the big-break activities" still has some problems in No.2 Middle School.First, when the activities are launched in free forms, they still exists a special phenomenon of "herding sheep", especially, during the time of extracurricular activities, some of which are lack in the scientific value in management and are organized rather loosely, so the parts of students are in the state of run-free. Even some students don't do physical exercise at all and they often cause either a variety of security issues, for instance, students get incidents because of crazy chasing one another, or breaking the schools' rules, for example, some students go to Internet Bar by jumping over the school's fences. All mentioned above run in the opposite direction with the original goals of the big-break activities. Second, even though the school has a collective activity organically during the big break, there still exist some problems which show below, such a(?)ngle form, vapidity, less initiative students show, be on duty but no any exerting themselves, motion unable to the proper place, be in the state of noncooperation, all of them above have a greatly reduced quality in the value of exercise. The example, the students' running organized by school after first two classes in the morning, just suits the case. Based on the problems above, the article not only does some relative research and investigation, but also puts forward some immature measures to improve, aiming at offering some reference to the organization and management of the students' physical exercise hold during the big break in current school. The reform of physical exercise in Middle School also has been carrying out like a raging fire following the reform of education for all-round development. At present, school has changed the single "Bi-Exercises" to the both morning exercise between classes organized by union and the afternoon extracurricular activity taking place...
