With the development of society, people’s living standard unceasingenhancement, the students diet nutrition has been further improve, but from twentyyears the national students’ constitution and health survey result, student’s physicalhealth level is a falling trend, in addition, the students’ physical health and physicalthere are many more prominent problems, such as: lung capacity this body indexdeclined continuously, vital capacity reflects the heart function is good or bad;Students’ movement speed, power, power quality, endurance quality level furthershowed a trend of decline; Students are overweight and obesity continue to increasethe percentage of; Students of poor vision is still high. Many reasons lead to theseproblems appear, experts point out that the root of the problem is the lack ofmovement, the ministry of education officials also pointed out to China’s youngphysical deterioration is the major reason for the young to participate in the physicaltraining time and intensity. School sports school education is an important part of theschool sports basic aim is to strengthen students’ constitution and promote thephysical and mental health of students, to make the students master the basic relevantsports knowledge, skills and technology, and gradually improve the students’ sportsability, is that they form a good habit of exercise and the formation of lifelong sportsconsciousness. But if there is no enough time to security and other various conditionsmeet, big break sports activities also can be what you want to talk about, so must beon students’ daily physical activity time to guarantee, and for the effectiveimplementation of the sports activities to create a series of favorable conditions, sobig break sports activities have the possibility of prosperous development.This paper adopted the literature material method, interview method,investigation method, data statistics, logic analysis and so on the many kinds ofmethod, the Urumqi sixty middle school of900students and100teachers in thespecific questionnaire survey, and some sports teachers and students in interview,trying to understand the big break Urumqi middle school sports activitiesimplementation present situation and the research results are fully analyzed. Theresult shows that: first, the Urumqi middle school big break sports activities and maynot be fully implemented, not achieving the big break sports effect. Secondly, theUrumqi middle school students sports motivation is good, sports activities are stronginterest, participate in sports activities is positive, attitude to sports function isrelatively reasonable positioning.
