The discipline of history is the study of past people and events, using historical significance of self-evident. In the current background of the new curriculum reform, the entrance requirements for the selection, the majority of teachers use more and more attention to historical teaching in the discipline of history. However, teaching the use of historical data is also a vast and complex process, really good use of historical data is not a simple matter of teaching, this concept paper to the guidance of the new curriculum, the teaching of history in secondary schools in the use of historical data was focused on the strategy. Prior to the use of strategies to explore the historical data, this paper middle school history textbook selection and use of historical data was analyzed, and also analyzed the historical data in teaching teachers choose and use conditions. Finally, the paper also reflects on the creation of teaching situations and the relationship between historical materials, students in the historical choice of the process of applying what role to play.
