Focusing on the relationship between effort management and college students' learning performance, this paper discusses the connotation and constructs the elements of the effort management, based on analysizing the related literatures at home and abroad systematically, with the theoretical foundations including subjectivity education,self-management, group dynamics, social interdependence and performance theories, by the means of combining qualitative with quantitative researching methods,such as Literature Review, Delphi, Questionnaire and Interview methods.This paper argues that the college students can improve their learning performance if they can achieve their effort management effectively. It demonstrates the internal relationship between college students' learning performance and effort management in the perspective of analysizing the cultural meaning of the proverbs and mottos, meaningful learning and a series of empirical methods. Meanwhile, in order to improving the college students' learning performance by the means of achieving effort management effectively, this paper discusses the methods or strategies, technical supports and the effort management "field", etc.It argues that the effective methods or strategies of the effort management include six aspects, i.e.,Firm Belief, Specific Target, Strong Motivation, Super Will, Constant Introspection and Good Reinforcement.The support of IT includes"objective management, time management, process managemet and reflective management".Meanwhile, effective effort management depends on the construction of the effort management"field"based on IT applied by the learner, i.e., networked learning communities and the cultural atmosphere within.This paper consists of seven chaptersChapter 1 Introduction It paper constructs the research problems, significance, structure and methods based on the analysis of the features of our times and the development of the discipline.Chapter 2 Literature Review It analyzes the relevant literatures of the effort management and learning performance at home and abroad systematically,focusing on the main problems. Chapter 3 Theoretical Basis It expounds the theoretical basis closely related to this paper, including the subjectivity education, self management, social interdependence, group dynamics and performance theory.Chapter 4 Theoretical Hypothesis The hypothesis can be constructed as: if the college students' achieve the effort management effectively, then they can improve their learning performance significantly, in the perspctive of the self-management and learning strategies.Chapter 5 Relevance Between the Effort Management and the College Students' Learning Performance It verifies the internal relationship between the effort management and the college students' learning performance, from the perspctive of the cultural meaning of the proverbs and mottos, meaningful learning theories and a series of qualitative researches.Chapter 6 Achieving the Effort Management Effectively: Methods and Techniques: It explores methods, strategies and IT tools used in achieving the effort management for promoting the college students' learning performance,based on the connotation and components of the effort management.Chapter 7 Constructing the Effort Management "Field" with IT Effective effort management depends on the academic, intellectual and emotional supports among the leraning partners, friends, groups or the communities,etc. IT is used to construct the effort management"field", i.e., networked learning communities and the cultural atmosphere within.
